This existing Queenslander was already built under, but a centralised kitchen and long skinny enclosed living space on the original back deck, didn’t suit the family or the impressive views towards the city. The relocation of the kitchen to look out at the view, and the addition of a larger living space and deck, now connects the upper level living to both the city views, and the rear yard and pool areas loved by the kids. Downstairs, a new rumpus space leads out onto the rear yard, giving the family 2 separate living areas, but still maintaining connection between both.
