A telecommunication accessories distribution company came to us with a brief to design a new office to house their Brisbane staff. Their business was about ideas and getting those ideas to market in a clear and simple manner. This ethos transformed into the brief for a simple cost effective design with a clean palette consisting of raw finishes which supported the industrial and structural nature of the space.

The planning brief called for mix of zones within the office to support flexibility of the work undertaken by different staff groups. All spaces were to embrace the natural light and have a connection the external environment as a priority. Open plan collaborative spaces had to be dynamic and free flowing, and this was offset by the executive spaces needing to be visually open and connected to the open plan areas but to be audibly separate.
